We have arrived! Safely! Oh so wicked tired!
We got to the airport safely this morning. Much thanks to Steve and Maria Frey for taking us to the airport this morning. Andrea and I sat down to our last Carolina meal for awhile (BBQ...yum). She said "I really like the fries"...I was like "Yeah, me too...they are delicious". She then replied..."No Steve and Maria."
The rest of the day was filled with delays (sat for 1.5 hours on the runway in Charlotte), but we finally arrived in Bogota about 2.5 hours later than expected.
All of our contacts were waiting for us, and we were overjoyed to see the "EISENBERGER" sign.
We are on a general computer here...but hope to get wireless in Pereira, and post photos as quickly as we can. I wore a special shirt today as a shout out to the Derrs.
We are hoping to site see a bit tomorrow, and just enjoy our mini-vacation. We fly out on Tuesday, and will meet our boys on Wednesday.

So glad you made it there safely to Bogota! Enjoy your few days there and take in as much as you can because soon your days will be filled by just admiring your boys and tending to their needs. It's such a cool thing and I'm so happy it's only a few days away now! BBQ was a great last meal in the US... you'll end up missing stuff like that (or at least we did)!

We are glad you made it to Bogota. Sheila and I have been thinking about you (and praying) for you both all day yesterday. We are so excited for you. It kind of feels like we are re-living our travels to Pereira.

Yay!!! I'm so excited for you! I know it will all go just exactly as planned. Well, maybe not, but you'll have your boys and be home in no time! Enjoy it while it lasts down there!!!

Glad you're there safely. My only advice would be to do you souvenir shopping now if you can. Once you have the boys it is much more difficult to get out and look at things while they are with you. You'll want to spend all of your time with them and they will probably need all of your time. That is the one thing I wish we had done - buy more things to have for them later to remind them of where they came from.
The "fries" like the eisen "burgers" - haha - cheesy? yes, cheese goes with both!
