Update

We have a surgery date for Luis Angel - Monday, October 20 at 7:30 AM.

We met with the surgeon, Dr. Watts, on Thursday. He went over the condition that Luis has, the procedure he will undergo and the risks involved. All in all, it was a very daunting appointment (despite the twins doing their best to be as cute as possible). Fortunately, both of us still have time available to take off from work. The challenge will be coordinating our schedules so that one of us can be at the hospital with Luis while the other of us is at home with Samuel and Daniel. We have no family in the area, so we are pretty much on an island - or at least that is how it feels. We will keep all of you posted as more details become available.

Praying that your friends will really surround you now and help however they can.
I'm sorry we can't be there to assist.
Love you guys!

I will be praying for you, that things go smoothly over these next few weeks. It's really difficult when you don't have family around (we have my brother, but he has 4 kids, so it's difficult to ask for help!). I so often wish we lived near my parents (I'm very often tempted to move back "home"). I like how you have your prayer requests listed on the side.

Your boys are adorable! Don't you just love having twins?!

Mom Shoenfelt - thank you so much for being able to go an help. I know that both Troy and Andra are very relieved that you will be there. Due to things at work that are out of my control I can't come and am very conflicted. It really helps to know that you will be there. Mom Peregory

Troy and Andi - we feel so helpless here in PA. We did put Luis on our prayer chain at churh however and will continue to uplift your entire family in prayers. It is super your mom is coming TO help you out Troy. Praise God for that.

Troy & Andrea,
We rejoice with you in becoming parents to such precious boys. We're praying for your daily challenges and experiences-especially for Luis' upcoming open heart surgery. Rest in the Lord, & don't be anxious.
