Hiccup #1
When we tried to buy our plane tickets, we found out that Delta only offers their "adoption fare" on certain flights. We will therefore be traveling on July 5 to Bogota. That is two less days to prepare, but a blessing in disguise as it will give us the opportunity to spend a couple of days in Colombia together before we pick up the boys. This will be our last official getaway as a family of two! What a great gift from God!

Congratulations...your boys are so guapo! You will love having those days to get settled into your Colombian home and hit the grocery store to stock up on a few necessities before you get your ninos. It's nice to walk around and get a feel for the neighborhood you are in while you two are together. This is so exciting! I get butterflies in my stomach for you!

I'm interested to see how our return flights with Delta are. We also purchased the adoption fare. Enjoy your mini-vacation!
We got down there a couple of days early and it was a big help for us. Nice thing is you get to relax and also pick up any last minute things you need before you get the kids! Also might be a good time to scout for souvenirs or at least what you might buy later since it will be more rushed with the boys.
